Each bed from one team would subtract that amount every second from the other team, and a team could win the game either if the opposing team lost all of their points, or if they were eliminated without any beds placed. There were five capture points including each team's spawn, and players could purchase beds for 2 Diamonds to place on these capture points. It was an inverse Capture-the-Flag mode where two teams of 4 started off with a bed and 1,500 points. As of March 5, 2021, 4v4 leaderboards are split from core modes, but they still count to a player's overall stats.Ĥv4 Capture is a removed mode released on February 1, 2018. The mode has Red and Blue teams facing a middle island, with said island containing the Emerald Generators and access to Diamond Generators. It is a mode with unique maps, but shares prices and resource generation with 3's and 4's. There are eight teams, each with access to a Diamond Generator and an opposing team. Solo and Doubles share the same maps and gameplay. There's also a 4v4 mode utilizing 3's/4's prices, and a rotational Dreams mode that cycles between unique twists on the Bed Wars formula. These modes follow standard Bed Wars gameplay but have differences in map design and prices. There are four core modes, those being Solo, Doubles, 3v3v3v3, and 4v4v4v4. When all opposing beds and players are eliminated, the last team alive wins. These events start with Diamond and Emerald generator upgrades up to level 3, then bed destruction, then sudden death where Dragons spawn. Over time, events will happen to speed up the game. If a team's bed is broken, players on that team will lose their respawn ability and be eliminated upon dying once more. Blocks and tools are available at shops to defend and break bed protection respectively, but beds do not require tools to be broken. These generator islands are usually close to islands of other teams, which can be raided by other teams to break their bed. Diamonds generate at a moderate speed and can be used to purchase team upgrades or traps, while Emeralds generate at a slower speed and can be used to purchase stronger items from the Item Shop. There are islands separate from team islands with Diamond and Emerald Generators. The bed is the respawn source of a team and must be protected from enemy teams, while the resource generator spawns Iron and Gold (including Emeralds with the Emerald Forge upgrade) to purchase items at the Item Shop. Team islands have a bed in front and a resource generator in back. They're equipped on spawn with a Wooden Sword when lacking a better sword, and a Compass with options for team communications to broadcast messages to their team, or player tracking to find opponents' distance and direction when all other beds are destroyed. In Bed Wars, players spawn in eight (Solo/Doubles) or four (3's/4's) teams of up to four players.
